This eco-friendly houseboat includes a panoramic suite, 3 double bedrooms, and 2 sofa beds that can accommodate 2 children. There is an indoor dining area, an outdoor terrace with a solarium, and a small swimming pool. Guests can use the kitchenette to prepare light meals, as it is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and portable stove. The boat also has access stairs at the stern and a small semi-rigid rowing boat for reaching the deserted beaches 100 meters from the boat.

Can I make payments via Multibanco?
No, payments must be made in full by bank transfer within 48 hours after making the reservation. Otherwise, your reservation will be automatically cancelled.
Can I make payments in cash?
No. The only payment that should be made in cash is the security deposit during check-in (€100, returned at check-out).
Is it possible to exceed the Boat's capacity?
No, due to licenses related to the accommodation’s capacity.
Is there hot water?
Yes, using the EcoFriendly concept, there is a tank where water is heated by solar energy.
Does the Barra Velha boat have capacity for 10 adults?
No, the boat can accommodate 8 adults and 2 children.
Is the "Menu" service always available?
Our Menus are available when booked at least 48 hours in advance.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed on board the Houseboat, also for safety reasons for the animal itself.
Can I navigate the Houseboat wherever I want?
No, the Barco Casa does not sail; it is anchored off Barra Velha beach and does not move from there. Next to Barco Casa, there is a semi-rigid boat for transporting guests to the nearest beach.
Can I check-in / check-out whenever I want?
Check-in and check-out times will be provided by us and are based on the natural tidal cycle. This must be respected, otherwise, due to the tidal cycle, we will not be able to reach the Houseboat to check in. It is an issue that we cannot avoid.
Is there parking near the check-in location?

What equipment is available in the Houseboat's kitchen?
The kitchen of the Houseboat is equipped with a refrigerator (50 liters, with a freezer drawer), a microwave (which can be used for a maximum of 2 consecutive minutes, with a total maximum of 5 minutes per day; only during the day and never in defrost mode), a coffee machine, cutlery, plates, glasses, pots, and pans. For cooking, there is a small gas stove with one burner.
You can charge your mobile phone on board during the day.
The Houseboat does not support electrical appliances that are not part of its inventory. The use of toasters, grills, electric plates, hairdryers, or other electrical appliances is prohibited.
What can I find in the vicinity of the Houseboat?
Near the houseboat, you will only find a deserted beach, without any cafes or restaurants. The nearest town is Fuzeta, which is 10 minutes away by boat.
During my stay, can I go to Fuzeta whenever I want?
Transportation for guests of Barco Casa upon check-in and check-out is included in the daily rate. Other types of transfers can only be made in accordance with the tide cycle, so they must be requested in advance and incur an additional cost of €20 (one way) or €30 (round trip) between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
